Plan for Territory growth
The strong growth of the Northern Territory’s economy and population brings with it the need to ensure that we have the required infrastructure and services. That is why the Territory Growth Planning Unit was established within the department in September 2008.
The unit consists of demographers, planners, economists and other experts to coordinate activity across government and provide advice on future needs to keep pace with private sector growth.
