Strategic alliances
The Department of the Chief Minister accesses a range of strategic alliances to promote the Northern Territory’s interests and objectives. These include intergovernmental frameworks such as Australia’s peak intergovernmental forum, the Council of Australian Governments (COAG).
We also work to build and strengthen our relationships, particularly our trade links, with the nations of the Asian region.
We also work closely with other organisations such as local government bodies and land councils.
