Multicultural affairs sponsorship program
The aim of the multicultural affairs sponsorship program is to assist migrant and ethnic communities by providing funds towards innovative projects that promote cultural and linguistic diversity in the Northern Territory.
Two rounds are advertised each year. Applications for the first round generally open in March and activities start in July. Applications for the second round open 24 August and close 25 September 2009 for activities starting the following January.
Outside the two rounds the Office of Multicultural Affairs will accept quick response applications for projects up to $2000.
All approved funds are provided to or through an incorporated association.
