Cultural and Linguistic Awards
The Cultural and Linguistic Awards give ethnic community groups the opportunity to obtain community development awards for an ethnic community group’s use of specialised local, national or overseas resources/experts to further enhance the maintenance or development of their culture and language. It also aims to transfer skills from the experts to the local community people.
An ethnic organisation applying for an award must be a voluntary, charitable or non-profit, incorporated group with a proven record in funds and project management. Refer to the guidelines for more information.
Applicants are encouraged to consult with the Office of Multicultural Affairs about their project before the closing date.
