Charles See Kee Awards

The Charles See Kee awards, established by the Northern Territory Government in 2004, recognise and celebrate people, organisations and initiatives that have made a valuable contribution towards the advancement of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory.

The Charles See Kee awards provide an opportunity to showcase and recognise achievements and contributions in promoting our harmonious and multicultural society.

The criteria for these awards are deliberately broad because the advancement of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory can be achieved in many ways by individuals, organisations or through specific initiatives.

There are four awards given in three categories:

  • Individual – two awards of $500 each. One award will be presented to a young person aged 25 and under, with the second being open to people aged over 25
  • Organisation – one award of $1000
  • Initiative or project – one award of $500.
