A great Territory lifestyle
The department has a key role in making sure that the Territory remains a great place to live and work, as well as marketing it to potential new Territorians.
We contribute to maintaining the Territory’s fantastic lifestyle in a number of ways. For example:
- Our Northern Territory Major Events Company identifies and attracts major sporting and cultural events such as the V8 Supercars, Alice Springs Masters Games, Arafura Games, BASSINTHEDUST, and BASSINTHEGRASS.
- We support the Northern Territory’s multicultural population through events and grant schemes run by our Office of Multicultural Affairs.
