Community Cabinet is when Cabinet travels to communities throughout the Territory to meet and talk with Territorians about their issues and aspirations. Cabinet consists of the nine Government Ministers, led by the Chief Minister.
Community Cabinet visits take place in a wide range of remote, regional and urban locations. Since commencing in 2002 Community Cabinet has travelled to almost 50 locations throughout the Territory including Tiwi Islands, Palmerston, Alice Springs, West MacDonnell Ranges, Groote Eylandt, Larrakeyah, Tennant Creek, Galiwin’ku, Ampilatwatja, Ti-Tree, Marrara, Nightcliff, Nhulunbuy, Batchelor, Cox Peninsula and Ramingining.
Community Cabinet visits, dates and invitations
Prior to every Community Cabinet visit notices are placed in newspapers, on radio and/or around communities and whole of community invitations are made available on this site.
